Governor Gretchen Whitmer acknowledged the contributions of entrepreneurs across the state with the proclamation of Small Business Week, April 30 – May 6. This week is a time to celebrate the small business owners who serve as a vital anchor of Michigan’s vibrant communities, fostering economic growth and opportunities for families and workers. The governor also reiterated the state’s commitment to providing a strong network of resources to support small businesses through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s (MEDC) Small Business Services and Solutions team.
