Carissa Serylo is the owner of SprayChic Airbrush Tanning in Wixom, Michigan formally in downtown Farmington. In 2008, Carissa was on the verge of losing her job in the mortgage industry and decided to invest in spray tanning equipment with the hopes of starting a mobile spray tan business. By 2009, she had a loyal following and the spray tan industry was growing.

The loyal following is an understatement.  In 2012, to accommodate a growing client base, Carissa transitioned her home-based and mobile business into a custom spray tan salon in downtown Farmington. To support this growth, SprayChic received an Oakland County Small Business Loan from CEED Lending. Due to continued growth, more space was soon needed. Carissa located a space in Wixom and turned it into a lovely “tanning retreat” for her customers.

SprayChic stands out in Metro Detroit as the most sought-after airbrush tanning salon.  Carissa is Master Certified by Norvell, a leader in sunless tanning. She was honored to be selected by them to assist in developing their mobile tanning certification program.  Providing stellar service, along with connecting with clients on a personal level, sets Carissa and her team apart from other salons.
