Allstate invites you to join us (virtually) at the 2023 Allstate Business Diversity Summit: Leading by Example: Accelerating Impact in the Community, November 13-17. We will have interactive and thought-provoking sessions with Allstate colleagues, other Fortune 500 corporate executives and leading business diversity experts who will discuss opportunities for corporations, minority-owned businesses, and minority business councils to work together to create economic impact for our respective businesses and our communities.
Allstate has been at the forefront of advancing equity through our support and partnerships with minority suppliers for over 56 years. We held our first minority and women’s supplier fair in 1967. In 1973, we formalized our diversity supplier program and began hosting an annual business development day. Last year we went bigger and bolder and launched a week-long Business Diversity Summit that brought together corporate executives, government officials, business development council leaders and diverse business owners to drive minority supplier success.
Day 1 | Monday, November 13, we’re kicking things off with The State of Business Diversity at Allstate. Hear dynamic keynote messages from Tom Wilson, CEO of Allstate and Cheryl Harris, SVP, Sourcing and Procurement Solutions. We have a special guest panel joining us and you won’t want to miss this conversation. (All sessions are virtual)
Day 2 | Tuesday, November 14 will focus on Generational Wealth and Building a Legacy in the Community. Also learn about the great work that Allstate is doing to foster the development of young entrepreneurs at HBCUs. (All sessions are virtual). You’ll hear from a family of MBE’s discuss- keeping it all in the Family. (All sessions are virtual and on-demand).
Day 3 | Wednesday, November 15 is Sourcing and Procurement Solutions (SPS) Day – Live at The Mart in Chicago. More details to come.
Day 4 | Thursday, November 16 we focus on Global Expansion where we will shine a spotlight on the expansion of Allstate’s Diverse Supplier Program into Canada and India. Hear members of the Billion Dollar Roundtable, discuss how they’ve succeeded with their global expansions and maintained their business diversity spend. (All sessions are virtual and on -demand)
Day 5 | We will close things out on Friday, November 17 with Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Day – Sustainability and the World We Live In . Hear the latest EV Solutions updates and learn about Allstate’s ambitious journey to Net Zero by 2030 and its Sustainable Procurement efforts. Meet some of our supplier partners who are disrupting their industry with new solutions
