Loan applicants must meet the following requirements:
Business must be in one of the following Michigan counties Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw, or Wayne.
Submit a completed loan application and supporting documents
• Businesses in operation less than one year must submit a business plan.
• Businesses in operation for more than one year submit an expansion plan.
• Demonstrate the inability to obtain credit (financing) from traditional lending sources.
• Be current on all federal debt including student loans, child support, and taxes.
• Submit a $75.00 non-refundable application fee.
