PayPal in partnership with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), has created a $10 million fund to provide grants up to $10,000 to more than 1,000 Black-owned small businesses across the United States. This grant can be used to assist in the recovery or stabilization of a small business that has been negatively impacted by COVID-19, the current recession, or recent unrest.
The application is open NOW through August 31st, 2020.
Verizon has made available a new round of funding through LISC to support small businesses that face closing their doors to help fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
LISC will use the funds to provide grants of up to $10,000 to businesses facing immediate financial pressure, especially entrepreneurs of color, women-owned businesses, and other enterprises that don’t have access to flexible, affordable capital in historically under-served communities.
The grants are designed to help business owners fill urgent financial gaps from paying rent to meeting payroll until they can resume normal operations or other financing becomes available.
Applications are being accepted in “rounds.” A round is open for one week and then closed. Dates for each round are posted on the LISC website, so check frequently.
