Small businesses that focus on the sweet and savory can attend the MI New Favorite Snack competition and public exhibition in Port Huron on Sept. 9. The competition will dish out more than $75,000 in cash prizes. The top winner will earn a distribution agreement with All Star Services, a company that supplies workplaces with food and beverages. The deadline for registration is June 30, with a $100 entry fee. Eligible vendors must be Michigan-based with 10 employees or fewer and have the appropriate licensing, insurance, and packaging for consumer purchase.
